To to all Interlinked Foundation members:

The pandemic has resulted in widespread economic hardship and a possible
depression. As a result of this, many of our members are extremely taxed to even
make their bills right now.

Thus, as treasurer of the Interlinked Foundation, I have made the very difficult
but ethically necessary financial decision to suspend all dues payments for 2020
retroactive to Q2 for foundation members. This decision is made under my
discretionary authority to suspend dues for members undergoing economic
hardship.

No dues payments for 2020 will be required in 2021 or any later date.

New memberships will require an initial one-time payment of dues, or a
commitment to pay whenever collection resumes. Failure to pay at that time will
result in revocation of foundation membership. I am setting the minimum for
this particular exception to the suspension at $5 per remaining month of 2020 if
paying this year per aforementioned authority. If you are making a commitment to
pay later, the normal dues rate will be assessed when collection resumes. If you
pay now, you will be exempt from dues for the first quarter of whenever
collection resumes. Regardless of what new members choose to do, the usual rules
regarding economic hardship will continue to apply; nothing in this statement
diminishes the foundation's right to waive dues for any member at my discretion.

I wish we could do more to help at the foundation but we're very strapped as it
is, with Lee Starnes (raven)  basically footing the bill for the foundation
right now.

Donations are of course still welcome and encouraged.
